Better than Prince

Here is a great little music video for the Flairs "Better

than Prince." I'm not so much into the song as I am into

the animation. The lyrics are funny only they repeat

themselves over and over. It is pretty entertaining. And

to be completely honest, I like this way better than I

like Prince. I really only respect Prince as a musician.

Bot'Ox

This is the music video for French musicians Bot'Ox. It was directed by the amazing Swiss graphic designers/artists, Körner Union and produced by Big. It's a surreal look at flat-black Ford Focus station wagon hitting inflatable objects in slow motion. It is simple, beautiful and fun to watch.

Charlotte Gainsbourg and Beck

Charlotte Gainsbourg featuring Beck – Heaven Can Wait.

This is an amazing video directed by Keith Schofield. It is as if every scene could be it's own single work of art. This video is surreal and has a lot of interesting emotional and social twists. Enjoy.

Bb 2.0

I have seen a lot of different YouTube compilation videos, but so far this one takes the cake. Described here:

"In Bb 2.0 is a collaborative music and spoken word project conceived by Darren Solomon from Science for Girls, and developed with contributions from users. The videos can be played simultaneously -- the soundtracks will work together, and the mix can be adjusted with the individual volume sliders."

Community Service Announcement

Community Service Announcement - Jonathan Boulet from Modular People on Vimeo.

This is a video for 21 yr. old Australian musician Jonathan Boulet. He is a new addition to Modular Record label. This video was directed by New Zealand duo Special Problems who also created a great video for Tame Imapla. See original post here.

Like a Rolling Stone

This is a 2006 music video for Japanese musician Cornelius. It was directed by Koichiro Tsujikawa and is very hypnotic. It's an interesting commentary on the monotony of contemporary life. I don't know about you but I get so tired of sitting on my elephant while it dances with a beetle.

It’s Okay

WeWereMonkeys: Land of Talk - It's Okay from WeWereMonkeys on Vimeo.

I really must be on a video kick. This one is also just utterly beautiful. Slow and rolling but oh so visually interesting. Found via Booooooom.

GOBBLEDIGOOK - SIGUR RÓS

Gobbledigook- Sigur Ros from Renee Stammen on Vimeo.

Directed By: Arni & Kinski in collaboration with Ryan McGinley. The music video looks like Ryan’s photos but in movement. It is a great song and in my opinion an ideal collaboration. Play it full screen, it's so much better this way.

Vladislav Delay - Toive

Vladislav Delay - Toive from Lorenzo Sportiello on Vimeo.

Here is a music video that is just like some junior-chemistry-set-experiment filmed close-up. It is the music video for Toive by Vladislav Delay. It was directed by Carolina Melis and Lorenzo Sportiello, crackmilk produced it. It is quite beautiful, however, I'm not too into the music so I played something from my library and sat back and enjoyed.

While you wait for the others...

Grizzly Bear - While You Wait for the Others from Grandchildren on Vimeo.

I haven't posted any music videos before this, but I was just captivated by this one. From Grizzly Bear off of the album Veckatimest.
