Italian artist Valentina de Matha creates some outstanding work and has a very unique and informed approach to producing it. Her artistic research regards material taking shape by itself, transformation of things, ever-changing dynamics of metamorphosis, becoming, fullness and emptiness of life, macro and microcosmos. Through her work she creates tensions, dissonances, trying to match interior and exterior, contraction and expansion in between form and formlessness. She works with water in general and organic materials, such as paper, capable of undergoing the changes of time.
